Paquita was one of the countless baby cats dumped into a SOHO complex near our residence. She was lucky a friendly resident of the complex adopted her and gave her a chance. Paquita grew up by watching her surrogate daddy, but soon has to live on her own. She was running out of luck in the tight competition in the complex and was destined to be defeated when she had mange that covers her entire face. In one of the days when she has nothing else, I came back home through her place after a long day. I offered my crowded house for a rest, but she took the chance for life. Her name came from Pasqua, spanish for Easter Sunday, the day when she raise from death and go back among the living.
