Things have settled down a bit and when I last heard from Josie a few hours ago the situation was:
The thunderstorm had stopped and the rain continued, but as far as Josie could see there were no urgent repairs needed. She still had to keep the electricity off at times for safety. She’ll continue to update as and when possible.
Everyone at the shelter was safe.
The kitten who had had the seizure (the tiny calico in the centre of the second photo) was doing better and much calmer. Josie and Sheilla are doing their very best to keep all the cats safe and things under control in the shelter.
Some of the bills/payments are due on Monday and Josie is doing what she can about that, too; sometimes she can work extra hours to make up the difference but I don’t think that’s possible in the current situation so she’ll need whatever help and support we can give her.
She was hoping to check on Deliso, the entertainer cat by the hospital, and the others in the area; she was concerned about them both because of the storm and some of the humans in that area. Please keep them in all your prayers as well as the Mobsters. In fact, please spare a prayer for all the animals of
Bandung, they do need our help.
Thank you all again, we’re so grateful 💚
