I have heard it many times, that people will ‘unlike’ or ‘unfollow’ me because my stories are often sad and that their live is already hard. Sometimes they said, life should be about celebration, joy and happiness, and that we should not dwell in sadness. In other occasion, they said, the world is a haunted place, and they go to Facebook for free entertainment.

If it is so hard for them who read it, so much so that they turn the other side and even threatened to push away people who ask for help, how would that feel for those who live it?

I mean, someone asks, “Can you help us?” and they said, “Go away!, you are not my friend, and don’t follow me, because you are sad!”

And then they will go to the church, or open their bible, and merrily cite “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” ~Matthew 25:40

When someone, and I mean anyone, human people, and animal people and tree people ask me for help, this is what I said to them: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” ~ Matthew 11:28

Let me tell you first and foremost this truth of truth: I am nothing. I am human. Flesh and blood. I am only five foot seven and I have only two hands and mere two legs. I can only walk so far and do so much, I only have so many years in my life, I am not forever.

It’s just so happens that I learn that when I heal someone, I feel good. When I give to those who need it, I feel good. When the one I helped smile, I smile with them, voluntarily, unprompted. I didn’t even try, but it’s contagious. They smile, I smile.

And the world is less sad, you know? The life is less hard, and the burden is less heavy.

So, these people said life is hard and so they turn away (and threatened to do so loud and clear), from something that will make them feel good?

Doesn’t make sense to me.

But… But I only have a little! No problem, I give little. If I have more, I give more.

How much timber does one tree made? Only a little; but a little timber from one tree and little more from the other build a house.

What can dirt do? They are so small and insignificant. They are so sad people step all over them all the time and didn’t even think about it. Dirt are next to nothing. But grab a palm full of dirt from here, and mix it with some more from there and we have a brick. One brick from here and one brick from there and we have a wall.

The more brick, the bigger the place.

So what can Josie do? Only little. But Josie + you?

See? are you smiling now?

They don’t say “The more the merrier” out for nothing.

And when you write, and send your help, you will see that power come to action. Josie + you = possible. One sponsor will take your heart and double your love.

So here is the wall. I put all my hearts there and some have joined me. One wrote in their heart, about the memories of their beloved pet. One other wrote in their heart, a celebration of a pet’s birthday, one wrote about their own birthday, one wrote about the sorrow of departure and separation. One wrote about graduation, one other wrote about how sorry they are because they only have little and so the joy is limited (for now).

Whatever it is, whether it’s good or bad, they write about what matters.

They write about love.

What will you write in your heart, to celebrate love?
