There are the places that get snow most of the time, and other places that get sun most of the time.
But there are places that stay in the gray, most of the time.
There are times when war is the only answer, there are times when war should not be the answer.
But there are times when we don’t know what is the answer.
There are flowers that only bloom at night, there are flowers that only bloom during the day.
But there are flowers that bloom the whole day throughout the year, or those that have no flower at all.
There are butterflies that fly only at night, there are butterflies that fly only during the day.
But either way, butterfly lives only for one day.
And then, there are those who do good all their lives and live in hard times, there are those who do bad and enjoy their lives forever and ever.
But most of the other, has good time, has bad time.
Some are killed because of it, some live bitterly throughout, some got hurt but never recover, some seems to manage.
But whether life is short or long, the love that comes with it, stays forever.
It is that love that comes with it, I think, that makes the difference. The eagerness to bring sun to the snow, the wish to bring light to the dark.
It is that love that comes with it, I think, that hope to bring good into bad, that dream for better days; whether the days would come or else.
It is that love that comes with it, I think, that puts faith into every little breath, and fire the courage to take the first step, even when one cannot see the whole stairway.
It is that love that comes with me, I think, that extended my hand and hold Bingbing in my arms, for once, though it turned out to be forever.
It is that love that comes with her, that fired her spirit, even if it is to cover a broken heart, when she realized that she is unwanted, and unwelcomed.
It is that love that comes with her, that give her acceptance that although she no longer have that grand house for herself, although she no longer have a yard to play, although she now has to share her little bed, she is alive.
It is that love that comes with the rest, that extend their paw, or open their snout to hold her from burning her system to dust. The love that comes with the rest that told her BingBing is BingBing, whether she is merry or shy. Whether she eats a lot or little, whether she is active or gentle. She doesn’t have to be avalanche, she doesn’t have to be a rolling snowball, she doesn’t have to be firework, there will be no difference whomever she came for snuggle.
But most of all, it is that love that comes with it, I think, that hope to bring good into bad, that dream for better days; whether the days would come or else.
So I stopped getting her everywhere and have tests ran on her and blood drawn all over again. Three said nothing bad found in her system, but she does not get as fit as she used to. Maybe it’s a virus, maybe it’s bacteria, maybe both, maybe stress, maybe it’s just fuel that burned too fast.
But the love that comes with it gave me serenity to accept what might come, gave me hope for better day, faith to keep going, and courage to keep taking that first step without seeing the whole stairway.
It is the love that comes with it, I think, that it is better not to know the future before it comes, that I put my foot onto the next step without seeing the whole stair.
Because then I will stop looking up, and realize the lesser ones below me. Then I will stop looking up and appreciate what is beside me.
Because then I will stop worrying and start living.
Living the snow when it comes and sun when it shines, living the night when it’s long and day when it’s light. Living the love that comes with every day while it lasts, and then when the time comes, have BingBing ride the rainbow and spread her wings. She will have the whole court of heaven to play again, and I hope she is not all that spirited that she knocked Jesus’ halo off His head.
There are things that we hold dear and never want to let go. There are things we never want but won’t go, there are things we always wish for, but never come, there are those we never expect, but come anyway.
But there will always be love that comes with it, that makes everything at its best and put hearts in the right place.
